With more than 20 years’ experience in the commercial vehicle lifting industry, George has supplied, installed and serviced workshop lifting equipment for independent workshops, fleet operators, truck dealers, bus and coach depots and MOT stations across the UK. Column Lift UK is built on that experience — and on the belief that a straightforward, no-nonsense approach is simply better for everyone in the trade.

Column Lift UK is an independent supplier and hire company for heavy-duty commercial vehicle workshop equipment. We supply to commercial vehicle workshops, MOT test stations, fleet operators, truck dealers, bus and coach depots — anywhere in the UK.
Our approach is different. The heavy workshop equipment market has always operated on a “call for pricing” model — every quote negotiated individually, no reference point for the buyer. We think that’s wrong. We publish prices where we can, and where we can’t, we give you a straight answer fast. No inflated quotes to “discount from”. No negotiation theatre.

We supply new equipment for purchase and offer short-term and monthly hire. Delivery, installation and collection throughout the UK mainland.
Full installation and servicing
Our own qualified engineers handle delivery, installation, commissioning and calibration. We also carry out full refurbishment of brake testers and column lifts — get in touch for a quote.
Hire for when you need it
Equipment hire is increasingly in demand among operators who need temporary capacity. Our hire service includes delivery, setup and collection — and extends as easily as a phone call.
